Gregory, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
My father, a successful entrepreneur, spent the last several years of his life researching our family history without modern internet tools and publishing his results by hand. After his passing and with the success of my own business, I was inspired to utilize my creative talents and continue his research.
I discovered the same struggles faced by me and my readers in our ordinary lives, also shaped our immigrant ancestors along with notable historical royal and political figures. This inspired me to write the sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” historical fiction series intermingled with romance, mystery, and action-packed thrilling elements. These deeply personal stories intrigued readers worldwide allowing us to experience a shared sense of history. My “Kopp Chronicles” series of novels have been a featured Book of the Day, Book Cover of the Month, and have Amazon and Goodreads 5-star reviews and are now available in 5 different languages in major chain bookstores and independent bookshops worldwide.
I am also especially proud that the State of California public library systems added the “Kopp Chronicles” novels to their collections for their patrons to enjoy. Library patrons can request these novels in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Sacramento, Riverside County, San Bernadino County and many more libraries. They can be downloaded through a variety of digital platforms including Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla digital, Bibliotheca Cloud Library, BorrowBox, Odilo and Axis360. In addition to California and thousands of United States public libraries, the “Kopp Chronicles” historical fiction novels are available in Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Australia, and Hong Kong with more libraries acquiring the novels every day.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My company’s clients, including small non-profit organizations and the preeminent worldwide entertainment company based in Los Angeles are the driving force behind my success. Their energy and enthusiasm are infectious and translates to our exciting work relationships that are inspiring, fun, and ultimately successful for all involved. My support for these dreamers allows them to share their talents and gifts with the world – making it a better place!! As a result, our company has been recognized with multiple business management consulting awards and praise from the business media.
Our business success allowed my artistic and creative aspects to blossom even further with the writing and publication of my exciting “Kopp Chronicles” series of historical fiction novels. And my latest novel in the Kopp Chronicles series will be published in early Fall 2023!
I am also excited to introduce our new fantasy and metaphysical series of novels “The Adventures of the Miso Mice” from my collaborator Annette Czech Kopp. The first novel in the series introduces the reader to 5 very curious fantastical Miso Mice on their quest to find The Answer Book, given to them by a magical button found floating out of a treasure chest! It is available in major chain bookstores and independent bookshops worldwide. And it has also been featured as a Book of the Day, Book Cover of the Month with Amazon and Goodreads 5-star reviews.” The Adventures of the Miso Mice” is also on Hoopla digital in major California libraries.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My skillful use of social media marketing, supporting my readers worldwide in the use of digital technology, and sharing this knowledge with the writing community allowed me to maximize the social media platforms geared to my audience.. My advice to writers is they should experiment with social media to determine which groups and readers cater to their particular genre. I have found the writing community on social media is amazingly supportive of new and emerging creative talent and will embrace novice writers with open arms.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
The next steps in my creative journey are to adapt my sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” saga to the screen, and I am looking forward to collaborating with creative minds to help achieve that vision. Along with the beautiful French Spy and dashing Scotland Yard detective, my readers will enjoy their favorite historical figures and immigrant characters come to life. These characters face palace intrigue, revolutions, tragedy and ultimate triumph in this epic series.
