Kopp Company Human Capital Services Engagement

Kopp Company's Human Capital Services (KCHCS) consultants continue to provide expert advice and counsel to the executive management of the nation's oldest free-standing hearing and speech center with over $28 million in assets and $5 million in revenues.
During our most recent client engagement, KCHCS consultants determined the appropriate pay values for a new position in the client’s organization by analyzing the position description and relative industry and regional market pay values in order to recommend an appropriate salary range for the position.
Additionally, our consultants used a point-factor job evaluation methodology to ensure the relative worth of the new position within the client organization.  The point-factor job evaluation methodology took into effect the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the job and the amount of effort to be put in by the employee along with the working environment conditions.  Our job evaluation system ensures internal equity among all jobs within our client’s organization, and combined with market pricing conducted by KCHCS consultants, clients ensure that total compensation and benefit packages are competitive with the external labor market while also maintaining budget control and in turn motivating employees by rewarding outstanding achievement.
